GENEX BIOSYSTEMS

Genex was funded in December 2004 by Dr Stephen Hart (Institute of Child Health) and Jean McEwan (Rayne Institute, UCL).

The company has developed a set of non-viral vectors that have shown outstanding transfection capabilities both in vitro (eg, primary cell lines) and in-vivo (transfection of blood vessels and respiratory tract).

Genex is now selling its vector for lab reagent application and has 2 in-house therapeutic vector in development.
